The X Factor is back exclusively on TV3 from Saturday 2nd of September and Suzuki is pleased to announce sponsorship for this year’s series. X Factor is the nation’s favourite singing competition and Suzuki will sponsor the programme for one year in a deal worth €480,000.
Speaking about sponsoring The X Factor for 2017, Tammy Charnley, General Manager - Marketing for Suzuki GB and Suzuki Ireland said;
"We are delighted to be expanding our presence in Ireland, and working with TV3 and The X Factor is the perfect way for us to do this. Our primary objective for Ireland has been to build fame for the Suzuki brand. We have extended our work in fame building partnerships in the UK into Ireland, however we wanted to create a partnership solely for the Irish market”.
Commenting further on the deal, Virgin Media’s Brand Partnerships Manager, Tim Crane said; “We are really pleased to announce Suzuki as the new sponsor of The X Factor, the biggest entertainment show on TV3 this autumn. It's an incredibly exciting partnership which takes the 'sponsorship concept' to a new level of innovation, brand integration and audience engagement.”
The partnership elements will include a Suzuki / The X Factor Ad Break takeover, a 30” advert will break in every episode of The X Factor on TV3, social media activation across Suzuki and TV3 digital and social platforms as well as ticket giveaways too. There will also be activation across Suzuki’s network of 23 dealers in Ireland.
The X Factor kicks off exclusively on TV3 on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of September at 8pm
