  • Suzuki GB adds another award to 2018 trophy cabinet with coveted Franchise Partner of the Year award
  • Brand acknowledged for positive relationship with franchisees and delivering on its promises to the retail network

Suzuki GB PLC has continued its successful start to 2018 by winning the Franchise Partner of the Year title at the recent 2018 AM Awards ceremony in Birmingham, West Midlands. The prestigious accolade recognises a vehicle manufacturer that has a positive relationship with its franchisees and that has fulfilled on promises to its retail network during the last 12 months. It is the result of online votes cast by AM’s dealer database, which are in-turn, validated by the AM Awards expert judging panel.

Tim Rose, AM Editor and judging panel member, said: “This win recognises Suzuki’s positive reputation among its franchisees, which is already evident from its high scores in the NFDA dealer attitude surveys. It is clearly giving its dealers a range of good value new cars, supporting them with engaging marketing such as the Ant & Dec sponsorship videos, and allowing them to get on with the business of selling and servicing cars without the micro-management that some other franchises suffer from.”

He added: “Suzuki is widely seen as a true business partner to its dealers, who favour its appropriate corporate investment demands, its approachable management team, stretching yet attainable objectives and their opportunities to make profit even in a toughening retail new car market. We’re delighted to see Suzuki’s strengths recognised at the 2018 AM Awards.”
